Regarding the recent rise in public concerns about Coronavirus Covid-19, we at St Pancras Clinical Research wanted to assure you that we are committed to providing the highest standard of cleanliness and protection for all our staff, patients, clients and visitors.

COVID-19 is the illness seen in people infected with a new strain of coronavirus not previously seen in humans. The main symptoms of COVID-19 are a new and persistent cough, a high temperature and, in severe cases, shortness of breath. You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within 1 metre of a person who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then touching your eyes, nose or mouth before washing your hands.

Following the most recent advice from the World Health Organisation and Public Health England about the worldwide outbreak of Coronavirus, Covid-19, and the moderate risk it may present to the general public in the UK, St Pancras Clinical Research is taking an intensive proactive approach to infection control, as we see a large number of potentially more vulnerable patients.

We ensure that all our facilities, including clinic rooms, public areas and toilets, are cleaned and disinfected regularly throughout the day by staff trained in rigorous infection control procedure. Disposable tissues, hand-washing facilities and gel hand sanitiser is readily available in all public and clinical areas for you to use, as well as immediately as you enter & leave the building. We also encourage all visitors to the clinic to follow the latest NHS advice on protecting yourself and others:

We hope that you will continue to work with us in maintaining a clean, safe environment for all visiting us at the Barbican.

Please do not attend the clinic if you, or someone close to you, has a fever, or cold or flu-like symptoms; call us for further advice as we may need to rearrange your visit. If you think you may have Covid-19, use the NHS 111 online service, or call NHS 111 directly.

If you would like further information on our procedures, policies and risk contingency plans for this outbreak period, please don’t hesitate to contact us (0203 865 1142), or speak to member of staff during your visit. For the latest Covid-19 advice, please click here.
